League Update on the Current Season

We hope you all continue to keep well and safe during these difficult times.

All of you should by now have seen the result of the SGM on how we end the season, which was as follows ;

To End the League Divisions using PPG  - 70%

To Null & Void All Cup Competitions  -  55%

Therefore the 2019/20 season for this League will be completed as per the above methods.

We realise that a number of clubs maybe disappointed with these decisions, but they were made by the members of the League (Clubs and Management)  as they do affect  all concerned in some way  and it was felt these would be the best way forward for the League as a whole so we can start afresh with the next season when possible.

With this decision now having been taken, we can now proceed to accept club application for next season , these being due by 6pm on 15th May at latest . We will then form a new  proposed Constitution and arrange for are AGM which is due on the 11th June 2020. At this time we do not know exactly how the AGM will be held, if we cannot meet as normal then it is likely to be done via email with plenty of time being given for clubs to consider the decisions before them and make their votes, more will be explained near the time.

I can also advise that the Proposed Rule Changes as previously advised have now been agreed by Herts FA , no further changes can be made and these go forward  to be voted upon in the AGM. We will be presenting Trophies & Medals for the Divisional winners and runners up plus certain other awards as normal , however we do not know when it maybe possible to get these and do this so will let you know when we can . I would also like to congratulate 7 of our Referees who have all just been promoted to their next levels , we wish them good luck for next season.

There will be further communications in the coming weeks regards the AGM and any other important information as required so please monitor your emails for these.

In the meantime we continue to urge you all to follow the Government & NHS                                                                                  guidelines and above all , keep safe.
